Snow in Lebanon: Faraya & Kfardebian Tour
Explore Lebanon’s snowy mountains on a private day trip from Beirut. Visit Chabrouh Dam, Faqra’s ruins and natural bridge, and Mzaar Kfardebian, where you can ski, ride a skidoo, or enjoy the views.
Experience Overview
Leave Beirut behind and watch the landscape turn white as the road climbs into Mount Lebanon. Your first stop is Chabrouh Dam, where you can take in the quiet mountain scenery, stroll beside the water, or try snowshoeing if arranged in advance. From the Mar Charbel viewpoint, look out across the snowy peaks before heading to Faqra, where ancient Roman ruins and a striking natural stone bridge add history and drama to the day. The afternoon is yours to shape at Mzaar Kfardebian. Ski the slopes, book a skidoo ride, or simply enjoy the views and a café stop. Bashir Choucair or his team guides the day and captures photos and video along the way, so you can bring home more than memories. After roughly nine to ten hours of mountain air, winter scenery, and activities chosen to suit you, return to Beirut.
Why travelers love it
No flag-waving guide, no racing back to a bus. This is your own private day in the mountains, guided by a local who knows where to find the views, the history, and the fun. Wander through snowy Roman ruins, take your time at Faqra’s natural bridge, then make Mzaar your own: ski, ride a skidoo, or settle in with a hot drink and the scenery. Along the way, your guide captures the moments on camera, so you can stay in them.
